This week we bid farewell to our dear friend Rose Van Thyn. We are so blessed to have had Rose and her husband Louis in our lives for so many years. Having endured the most unspeakable horrors at Auschwitz, Rose devoted the rest of her life to telling her story (especially to the kids of Shreveport) and to providing the greatest possible example of how the human spirit can triumph. Rose was proof that despite long odds and unspeakable pain and suffering, brave men and women can not only cling to, but embrace, life and build a future out of the ashes of the past.
Rose, we love you and will never forget you.

That's a very nice tribute. Jody and I have been so caught up in our own lives that we hadn't heard. She really was a spectacular woman. Hope you guys are all well. It sounds like we'll be bringing a new Braunig into the world at some point today.
